JOB TYPE: Full Time, Exempt

SUMMARY: Control System Hardware/Software Architect and Control Application Design Review.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Manage/coordinate DCS controller and IO additions simultaneously being made to a large and expanding DCS system by multiple engineering and procurement firms.

•Review and approve DCS control applications and associated graphics being programmed by DCS vendor engineers. Ensure applications meet the functional specifications provided by the customer.

•Review/validate P&ID content vs. instrument database vs. DCS configurations

•Review and approve Construction Work Packages associated with installation of Process Control System equipment.

•Define and document 3rd party vendor package communication interfaces to DCS. Profibus DP, AB Compact and ControlLogix, AB Intellicenter E3+, and Devicenet experience is a plus.

•Work closely with start-up team and site team during commissioning and startup activities.

•Limited travel to vendor and EP firm locations will be required.
